Editorial policy
This is a working document, not a statement of intent. Everything described here is built into the editorial system: the checklist items really do block publication.
What we do not promise
We do not promise absolute objectivity — no newsroom has it. We promise something else: to show where a claim comes from, when it was checked, and what remains unverified.
Fact, claim and opinion
- News — verifiable events with sources named.
- Analysis — explanation and context grounded in facts, with the author's position visible.
- Opinion — a value judgement by the author; it is labelled and visually separated.
- Advertising material — prepared outside the newsroom, marked with its own banner.
A statement by a party to a dispute, a company or a public body is a statement, not an established fact. Where there is no independent confirmation, we say plainly who is claiming it and note the limitation.
Sources
- Every substantial claim in an original article has a verifiable source with an access date.
- Several reprints of the same press release do not count as independent confirmation. The system warns the editor when all sources come from one publisher.
- For contested topics we look for independent confirmation; where there is none, we publish with explicit attribution and state the gap.
Material from other publications
We do not reprint other publications' texts. For an external article we publish a short editorial description and a link to the original. Third-party audio and video are not downloaded or hosted here: we use a link to the source and — only for verified providers — a player that loads after you click.
Corrections
Mistakes are corrected in the open. Every substantial correction is visible on the article page itself and in the shared corrections log, with a date. We do not rewrite material silently and we do not refresh publication dates artificially.

Human verification
The "verified by an editor" mark is set only by a signed-in human, by hand, and the system records who did it and when. Such a mark never appears automatically. If there is no mark, the page says so.
Independence
We do not publish paid material disguised as editorial. We do not invent journalists, experts, partners or sponsors: there is not one fictional staff member or partner on this site.
Languages
The interface is available in ten languages. The interface language and the region of a topic are different things: switching the menu language does not translate an article. If a translation does not exist, we say so honestly and offer the original. There is no automatic redirect based on your IP address.
What is not ready yet
The publication is in preparation. Publisher details, the public newsroom address and email confirmation will be completed before the public launch. Open list of what is missing
